Volleyball Recap: Chesnee Comes Up Short

Chesnee lost against North Central on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Knights. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Chesnee ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.

Chesnee's loss dropped their record down to 22-6-1. As for North Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5-1 record this season.

Chesnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Central, after both having extra time off, they and Landrum will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
