Marcus Scaife was dynamite on Thursday, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with one or fewer earned runs. On the year, he has an ERA of 2.40 over 35 innings pitched.
