Basketball Recap: Park Place Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Park Place Christian Academy lost against Simpson Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders were dealt a 62-21 defeat at the hands of the Simpson Academy Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Cougars are ranked 30th).

Park Place Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Simpson Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5.

Park Place Christian Academy will square off against Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Park Place Christian Academy is facing Lamar at the right time seeing as Lamar is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Simpson Academy, they will head out to face off against Leake Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
