Baseball Recap: Farmington Victorious

Farmington won the last time they faced North Farmington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Lucas Colbeck looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Jayden Essary was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and four runs. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Kyle Austin also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Farmington's record now sits at 3-12. As for North Farmington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Farmington will challenge Annapolis at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Farmington will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' match: after the Falcons face off against the Cougars, they'll take on North Farmington again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
