Willow had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West St. John Rams. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Willow took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6, 25-15.

Leading Willow to victory were Haviva A and Chloe West. A had 12 assists and three aces, while West had five digs. The dominant performance also gave A a new career-high in kills (two).

Willow's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West St. John, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Willow will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
