Football Recap: Webster Takes a Loss

Webster lost against Deuel back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bearcats were outmatched by the Cardinals and fell 43-8. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Webster's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Deuel, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster will face off against Clark/Willow Lake at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cyclones will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Deuel, they will square off against Mobridge-Pollock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.1 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
