Basketball Recap: Vicksburg's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It was a good run, but Vicksburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 64-57 to the South Christian Sailors. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sailors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Vicksburg's loss dropped their record down to 23-3. As for South Christian, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Vicksburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Christian, they will challenge West Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully West Catholic likes a good challenge.
