Volleyball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy Takes a Loss

The Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals came up short against the Bearden Bulldogs on Monday and fell 2-0. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Peyton Barnes paced Eagleton College & Career Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Barnes got some help from Audrey Wilson and her five assists. Barnes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bearden, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Eagleton College & Career Academy will take on Washburn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Royals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Bearden, they will be playing at home against Knoxville T at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
