The Navajo Pine Warriors will challenge the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Navajo Pine will be strutting in after a victory while Tse' Yi' Gai will be coming in after a defeat.

Navajo Pine's tournament run continued when they took on Legacy Academy on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Silverbacks by a score of 53-42.

Among those leading the charge was Joshua Martinez, who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaidyn Nez, who earned nine points.

Meanwhile, Tse' Yi' Gai was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 66-23 defeat at the hands of Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy. The Dine Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Navajo Pine's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tse' Yi' Gai, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Navajo Pine beat Tse' Yi' Gai 50-38 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Dine Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
