Volleyball Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss

Norwalk and Marshall squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Norwalk had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Harlem Castro was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marshall, after both having extra time off, they and Pacifica will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
