Wausa's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They really took it to the Homer Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-30 win. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Homer saw an underclassman step up: freshman Leidy Hunter posted four points.

Wausa's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Homer, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

Wausa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-47 win against Winnebago on the 7th. As for Homer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-46 defeat against Creighton on the 7th.
