Gateway Charter and Oasis are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Griffins will be playing at home against the Sharks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gateway Charter has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gateway Charter came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Aubrey Rogers, falling 22-2. The Griffins haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Gateway Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Mendez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Michael Konkol also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Oasis hadn't done well against Ida Baker recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Sharks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Sharks have posted since March 4th.

Noah Pinney was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Cody, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Oasis' win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-12. As for Gateway Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
