Basketball Recap: Flowing Wells Comes Up Short

Flowing Wells lost against Catalina Foothills back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Caballeros were dealt an 81-48 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The Caballeros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flowing Wells' loss came despite strong showings from Jordan Martinez and Isaias Encinas. Martinez went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points and seven boards, while Encinas posted 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was O'Shay Walker, who earned seven points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Flowing Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Catalina Foothills, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Flowing Wells has already played their next game, a 70-68 win against Sunnyside on the 29th. As for Catalina Foothills, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Mica Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
