Soccer Game Preview: Hunter vs. Granger

Hunter is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will take on the Granger Lancers at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Hunter who was credited with the win on Saturday. The Wolverines got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Box Elder's two.

On Saturday, Granger narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mountain View 3-2. That's two games straight that Granger have won by just one goal.

Granger's record is now 2-0. As for Hunter, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Hunter might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Granger in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
