It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Shepherd Bluejays duke it out with the Ogemaw Heights Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday... Shepherd is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Shepherd is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 11, 2024 on Monday. They had to suffer through a 58-28 loss at the hands of Portland. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while the Raiders are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ogemaw Heights). They breezed by Farwell to the tune of 63-25 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Shepherd's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Ogemaw Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
