Football Game Recap: Greenwood Christian vs. Calhoun Falls Charter

Greenwood Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game against Calhoun Falls Charter by a conclusive 42-14 score. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (42) and coasted on those for the win.

No one had a larger role in the success than senior Jack Alvarez, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 108 yards on the ground. This was the first game for both teams, giving Greenwood Christian a 1-0 record and starting Calhoun Falls Charter off at 0-1.

Next week, Greenwood Christian take on Orangeburg Prep at 7:30 PM. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, they will face of against TBA.
