Soccer Recap: Cloverleaf Falls to Buckeye in First Game of Season

Cloverleaf unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Buckeye Bucks by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Cloverleaf couldn't quite close it out.

Looking ahead, Cloverleaf will face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Cloverleaf their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Buckeye, they have already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on the 18th.
