Softball Recap: Morrilton Comes Up Short

Morrilton lost against Clinton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Devil Dogs came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 9-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Devil Dogs have suffered against the Yellowjackets since April 11, 2016.

Morrilton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Clinton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Morrilton will square off against Bigelow at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Panthers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Clinton, they will challenge Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
