Hialeah got themselves on the board against South Miami on Thursday, but South Miami never followed suit. They really took it to the Cobras for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 victory. Considering the Thoroughbreds have won four games by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Hialeah and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for South Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Hialeah will welcome Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Thoroughbreds' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Miami, they will take on Carol City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
