Parkway has gone 8-2 against Haughton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Parkway Panthers will square off against the Haughton Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. Parkway has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three games.

Parkway took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Byrd with a sharp 66-43 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 1269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Haughton hadn't done well against Airline recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Haughton sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 win over Airline. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buccaneers.

Haughton is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Parkway, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Parkway skirted past Haughton 59-57 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Parkway repeat their success, or does Haughton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
