Volleyball Recap: North Tampa Christian Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Tampa Christian Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Titans have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Joey Escalera-Hernandez, who had 12 digs and five assists. Denys Lantigua also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

North Tampa Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Sports Leadership & Management, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 22-0.

North Tampa Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Harvest Community on the 9th.
