With a playoff win on the line, Dunedin rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tarpon Springs Spongers. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Spongers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Isobel Maclean-Eltham paced Dunedin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Maclean-Eltham got some help from Emmorie Barnes and her 14 assists. Barnes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Dunedin's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Tarpon Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Dunedin has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Seminole on the 16th. Hopefully Tarpon Springs paid attention to the Falcons' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
