Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Elkins' Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Fort Bend Elkins's tournament run continued when they took on Vista Ridge on Thursday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The loss put an end to the Knights' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-10.

Nidhi Dronavalli paced Fort Bend Elkins' offense, picking up three kills. Dronavalli got some help from Hailee Collins and her five assists. Leena Kadir-Balogun controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fort Bend Elkins fell to 3-1. As for Vista Ridge, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Fort Bend Elkins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Bowie on the 15th. As for Vista Ridge, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pflugerville Connally on the 15th.
