Softball Recap: Osceola Comes Up Short

Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Croix Falls Saints, falling 7-1. The Chieftains were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Croix Falls, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Osceola will challenge Altoona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Railroaders have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Croix Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ladysmith at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Saints' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
