The North Posey Vikings will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Princeton Tigers at 11:00 a.m. North Posey is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

North Posey's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Southridge 3-0. Considering the Vikings have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Maelee Yount and Kayla Delph scored all three of North Posey's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Princeton was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against Evansville Central, falling 3-0.

Princeton was without their leading scorer, Nya Dame, in Wednesday's game. With Dame sidelined, Payton Rodocker got her first action of the season.

North Posey now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

North Posey beat Princeton by a goal in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Posey since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
