Volleyball Recap: Chase County Longhorns vs. Ogallala Indians

After a string of seven wins, Chase County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Ogallala Indians. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August.

Chase County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.

Riley Rusher paced Chase County's offense, picking up ten kills. Rusher got some help from Landree Mcnair and her 14 assists.

Chase County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-10. As for Ogallala, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 26-10.

Chase County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ogallala, they will head out to take on Scotus at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Scotus is coming into the match with three straight victories at home, so Ogallala will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
