Basketball Recap: Indian River's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Indian River was the 49-37 winner over General Brown when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Indian River Wolves fell 50-43 to the General Brown Lions on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Indian River still got an impressive performance from Keera LaLonde, who went 6 of 15 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Lillian Walsh, who posted five points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Indian River's loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

Indian River will square off against Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for General Brown, they will challenge South Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
