Football Recap: John Jay Takes a Loss

John Jay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 19-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brewster Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-12 on Saturday.

John Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brewster, the win keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Looking ahead, John Jay will face off against Mahopac at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolf Pac's defense has only allowed 11.1 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Brewster, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 victory against Walter Panas on the 8th.
