Softball Recap: Mineral Wells Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Mineral Wells's offense. They came up short against the Brock Eagles on Friday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Mineral Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Brock, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-0-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mineral Wells will challenge rival Brownwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brock is set to square off against their familiar foe Stephenville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
