It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Long Beach Poly ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Fullerton Indians as they made off with an 8-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Jackrabbits sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Star T. Sepulveda spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kween Tauala, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emoni Lam Sam, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Long Beach Poly lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fullerton didn't launched any home runs.

Long Beach Poly pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.2 runs over those games. As for Fullerton, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.

Long Beach Poly didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-4 win against Irvine on the 25th. As for Fullerton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-2 victory against Garden Grove on the 25th.
