Soccer Game Preview: Roeper vs. Inter-City Baptist

The Roeper Roughriders will challenge the Inter-City Baptist Chargers at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Roeper's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Thursday, Roeper didn't have quite enough to beat Southfield Christian and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Inter-City Baptist kept a clean sheet against Clarenceville on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 9-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Inter-City Baptist.

Roeper's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Inter-City Baptist, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Roeper was able to grind out a solid win over Inter-City Baptist in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Roughriders repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
