Alvarado had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Kimball Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 on Thursday.

Alvarado pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Kimball, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12.

As of now, neither Alvarado nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
