Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crestview). Everything went their way against the Fleming County Panthers on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-9 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Cameron Cook looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Connor Riffe was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jace Jernigan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Crestview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Crestview's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Fleming County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
