Basketball Recap: Bainbridge Beats Kingston for Their Sixth Straight Win

Bainbridge won the last time they faced Kingston and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bainbridge Spartans took down the Kingston Buccaneers 67-53. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Bainbridge, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Kingston, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Bainbridge will face off against North Mason at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Mason knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Bainbridge likes a good challenge. As for Kingston, they will head out on the road to face off against Olympic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
