Menendez is a perfect 3-0 against Matanzas since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Menendez Falcons will host the Matanzas Pirates at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Menendez 12.8, Matanzas 12.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Menendez is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They pulled ahead with a 20-19 photo finish over Palatka last Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Matanzas' offense. They fell 13-0 to Crescent City last Thursday. The Pirates have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Menendez's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Matanzas, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Menendez was able to grind out a solid win over Matanzas in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 15-6. Does Menendez have another victory up their sleeve, or will Matanzas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
