Niles Notre Dame is 7-1 against St. Patrick since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dons will welcome the Shamrocks at 6:30 p.m. St. Patrick took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Niles Notre Dame, who comes in off a win.

Niles Notre Dame will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Carmel, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Dons came out on top against the Corsairs by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Niles Notre Dame easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17.

Meanwhile, St. Patrick came up short against Saint Viator on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Shamrocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Patrick was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, St. Patrick saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Groh had eight digs and five assists.

St. Patrick now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Niles Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Niles Notre Dame was able to grind out a solid win over St. Patrick when the teams last played back in April, winning 2-0. Will the Dons repeat their success, or do the Shamrocks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
