Volleyball Recap: Huron Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Huron had won three straight home games and Adelyn Van Sickle did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Margaretta Polar Bears with plenty of help from Van Sickle, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Huron was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-14, 25-15.

Huron's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Margaretta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Huron has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Gilmour Academy on the 20th. As for Margaretta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Willard on the 23rd.
