Soccer Game Preview: Central Catholic vs. Nelson

The Central Catholic Rams are taking a road trip to square off against Nelson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Central Catholic's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Barlow by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Nelson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Monday. Neither they nor Sandy could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Nelson has been dealt a draw since back in September.

Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-4-2. With that draw, Nelson's record moves to 4-1-2.

Central Catholic came out on top in a nail-biter against Nelson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
