Basketball Recap: Faith Academy Comes Up Short

Faith Academy was the 48-45 winner over St. Michael Catholic when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams took a hard 59-41 fall against the Cardinals on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Faith Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for St. Michael Catholic, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Faith Academy and St. Michael Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. The Rams (ranked 223rd) will meet Spanish Fort (ranked 105th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Michael Catholic will face off against Saraland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (258 vs. 31).
