            Baseball Preview: Chambersburg Trojans vs. State College Little Lions        
        
		
        
        
            The Chambersburg Trojans will venture away from home to  square off against the State College Little Lions  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. Chambersburg's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so State College's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Chambersburg proved they can win big  on Thursday (they won by six) and  on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Central Dauphin  2-1.
  W Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Meanwhile, State College was not the first on the board  on Monday, but they got there more often. They walked away with  a   6-1  win over Mifflin County.
  Jude Scavone looked comfortable as he  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. State College is undefeated when  Scavone allows one or  fewer  earned runs, but 1-4 otherwise.
 Chambersburg's record is now 3-8. As for State College,  the  victory  got them back to even at 4-4.
 Chambersburg might still be hurting after the  7-1 loss they got from State College  in their previous meeting  on April 1st. Can the Trojans avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
