It was a proper cat-fight when Pantego Christian challenged Northland Christian on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Cougars 74-54. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pantego Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evan Jackson, who shot 64% from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points and eight assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least a third of the Panthers' points. Jeremiah Raiford was another key player, going 9-for-12 on his way to 22 points and five boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Pantego Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. They racked up 11 more assists than Northland Christian's also-impressive total of 12.

When it comes to explaining why Northland Christian lost, don't look at Quincy Goudeau. Despite the final result, he shot 42% from the field en route to 21 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Alhassan Diallo, who posted seven points and 11 rebounds.

Pantego Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Northland Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
