 If Calera was feeling good  off their  7-0 takedown of Hartselle on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Calera Eagles fell just short of the Prattville Lions by a score of  3-2 on Saturday. The  contest was a  0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Calera couldn't quite close it out.

 Matthew Doerfler did their best for Calera and scored both of Calera's goals.  The pair have combined for a total of 13 so far this season.
 Calera's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Prattville, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
 Calera will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Southside at 4:30  p.m. Southside will roll in looking for their  15th straight  victory, something Calera surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prattville, they will look to defend their home pitch  on Saturday against Westminster School at Oak Mountain at 4:30  p.m. Prattville is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 4.1  goals per game this season.
