Basketball Recap: Nolan Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Trinity Christian last Friday, Nolan Catholic came back down to earth. The Nolan Catholic Vikings lost to the Liberty Christian Warriors on the road by a 57-39 margin on Friday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 55-45.

Nolan Catholic's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 22-14. As for Liberty Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-22 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Nolan Catholic will welcome Parish Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Christian, they will head out to take on Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge.
