Volleyball Recap: Willow Spring Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Willow Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Fuquay - Varina Bengals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Monday.

Willow Spring started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-9, 25-16, 25-22.

Willow Spring's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fuquay - Varina, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
