Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Triumphs

Bloomfield took a 38-point loss the last time they faced off against Tohatchi, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 victory over the Cougars on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since December 19, 2024.

Bloomfield had a senior duo take command as Mischa Quintana posted 11 points and five assists and Delanna Russell earned 11 points and eight rebounds. Russell is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Bloomfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Tohatchi, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will square off against Cuba at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tohatchi, they will welcome Robertson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
