After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Laney, Jacksonville was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They beat the East Duplin Panthers by a goal, winning 2-1. Jacksonville have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw East Duplin, too.

Noah Nantes and Landon Adams scored both of Jacksonville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Jacksonville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-2 record this season. As for East Duplin, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Looking ahead, Jacksonville will challenge White Oak at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. The contest will give Jacksonville their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for East Duplin, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 victory against Liberty Christian Academy on the 22nd.
