Softball Recap: Covington Buccs vs. Troy Christian Eagles
Covington won the last time they faced Troy Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Buccs blew past the Eagles 15-5. Considering the Buccs have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Whitney Burns made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
