Volleyball Recap: Waterloo Starts off Right with Win over Windham

Waterloo had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Windham Bombers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Waterloo not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Windham between 18 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Kristlyn Kehrer paced Waterloo's offense, picking up eight kills. Kehrer got some help from Brilyn Eddy and her 19 assists. Kehrer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Waterloo has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Memorial on the 19th. As for Windham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Chalker on the 19th.
