Basketball Recap: Northwood Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Northwood won the last time they faced Logansport and things went their way on Thursday too. The Northwood Gators were the clear victor by a 48-26 margin over the Logansport Tigers. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jahari Mccoy, who posted eight points in addition to six assists and six steals. Another player making a difference was Landon Tinsley, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Northwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Logansport, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.

Looking ahead, Northwood will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Glenmora at 6:00 p.m. Logansport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
