Baseball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is North Kitsap's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

North Kitsap won the last time they faced North Mason and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 13-8. With that win, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Dawsyn Anderson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Teague Weible also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

North Kitsap has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Mason, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.
